  • All jewellery is designed and made by Mel Mueller Jewellery unless stated otherwise.

  • Due to the handmade nature of our work, each piece may vary slightly in colour, texture, or form. These variations are part of the character of handmade jewellery and are not considered defects.

  • Product photos are representative only; colours may appear different depending on your screen.

Pricing & Currency

  • All prices are shown in NZD, unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices include NZ GST where applicable. International orders are not charged NZ GST.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

Orders & Payment

  • Orders are confirmed once payment is received in full.

  • Payment methods accepted are listed at checkout.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, including due to suspected fraud or errors in pricing or availability.

Made-to-Order & Custom Pieces

  • Made-to-order or custom jewellery requires additional production time, which will be advised at purchase.

  • Custom or personalised items cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged once production has begun, unless required under New Zealand law.

Shipping

New Zealand Orders:

  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or events beyond our control.

International Orders:

  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by their country.

  • We are not responsible for delays, seizures, or losses caused by customs authorities.

Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Returns & Refunds

  • New Zealand Customers

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if an item is faulty.

  • If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be returned unworn and in original condition.

  • Change of Mind

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or personal preference.

  • This applies to both NZ and international orders.

  • International Customers

  • Returns are accepted only for faulty items, not for change of mind.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is confirmed faulty.

Care & Wear

Jewellery requires care. We are not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Exposure to chemicals, water, or impact

  • Incorrect storage or care

Care instructions provided are guidelines only.

Intellectual Property

All designs, images, text, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Mel Mueller Jewellery and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the item purchased.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law.
